Okay. I have yet another confession to make. I’ve spent the better part of 2016 wanting to get into podcasting. I absolutely love podcasts. I could spend most of the day listening to podcasts but the thing is that starting one all by myself…
Well that sounds a little scary, you know?
Hey, even I get a little scared of big projects sometimes! But I couldn’t let go of that dream, I spent time thinking about it, learning about it and dreaming about, always putting it off till the next quarter until my lovely friend started talking about her podcast, Blog Fuel.
One thing led to another and BAM! I’m finally getting to fulfill my podcasting dreams by cohosting Blog Fuel with Kirsten Thompson of Sweet Tea LLC.
Friends, can I even tell you how much of a gift this is to me? To be able to connect with you all further, to help encourage you and empower you through a podcast is absolutely a blessing. So obviously, I’m super thankful for the opportunity.
Okay, enough of my mush. Allow me to introduce you to the founder of Blog Fuel and one of my biz besties, Kirsten!
Y’all, I am so stinkin’ excited to have Erin on board for Season 2 of Blog Fuel! But let’s back up a minute…to before there was a podcast.
By the way, I’m Kirsten from Sweet Tea, LLC. I’ve been blogging for more than 6 years, and teaching for almost 2 years. Somewhere along the way, a reader said that I should start a podcast, to which I replied, “I need another thing like I need another hole in my head.”
But, as time passed, and my business grew, I kept hearing that little whisper about starting a podcast, so finally, more than a year after the idea was first uttered, Blog Fuel was born! Season 1 kicked off during the summer of 2016 and it was EPIC! And now we’re gearing up for an even epic-er (<< totally a word) Season 2!
To get to know me a bit, here are 5 random things about me:
1. I am completely addicted to sweet tea (the sweeter the better!)
2. I have 6 tattoos, one of which is a half-sleeve, another of which is a squirrel. (His name is Steve.)
3. I’m an only child and mom to an only child.
4. I have naturally curly hair, but didn’t embrace the curl until about a year ago.
5. I love cucumbers but hate pickles.
Can’t wait to have you join us for Blog Fuel!
Isn’t she just the most fun?
What can you expect from season two of Blog Fuel?
Kirsten describes Blog Fuel as “high octane education & encouragement for goal-getters,” which is exactly what it is. Whether you’re a blogger or a creative business owner, you can expect to feel uplifted and empowered with the education content provided.
But don’t worry, this is no stuffy classroom style podcast. Our goal is to create a podcast that will make you feel like you’re sitting down with us, having a cup of coffee. Or tea, in my case.
How can you tune in?
The first episode of season two goes live on January 13th. And I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m as excited as a kid in a candy store over this.
Yeah, I’m counting down the days.
